That was somebody else’s answer. Yours takes about twenty seconds: a handful of either-ors, then one dish.

How to make gazpacho

One way to do it. The same ones the app hands you once you have decided.

Cold, sharp, blended smooth

20 minutes Β· serves 4 Β· Very easy

What you need

  • 1kg ripe tomatoes
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 50g stale bread
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp sherry vinegar

What you do

  1. 1Use tomatoes that are almost too ripe. Underripe ones make it thin and sour.
  2. 2Soak the bread in water, squeeze out, and blend with everything else.
  3. 3Blend far longer than feels necessary β€” two full minutes β€” then trickle in the oil to emulsify.
  4. 4Chill at least 2 hours. Season again when cold; chilling flattens salt.
