That was somebody else’s answer. Yours takes about twenty seconds: a handful of either-ors, then one dish.

How to make thai green curry

One way to do it. The same ones the app hands you once you have decided.

With shop-bought paste, done well

25 minutes Β· serves 2 Β· Easy

What you need

  • 3 tbsp green curry paste
  • 400ml coconut milk
  • 300g chicken or tofu
  • Handful of green beans
  • Thai basil
  • Fish sauce
  • Palm or brown sugar
  • Lime

What you do

  1. 1Fry the paste in a spoon of the thick coconut cream from the top of the tin for 2 minutes.
  2. 2This step is what separates it from a bland curry β€” the paste must sizzle and darken.
  3. 3Add the rest of the coconut milk and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. 4Add the chicken, cook 8 minutes, then the beans for 4 more.
  5. 5Balance at the end: fish sauce for salt, sugar for round, lime for sharp. Basil off the heat.
