Mango lassi

Thick, cold and sweet enough to put a fire out.

That was somebody else’s answer. Yours takes about twenty seconds: a handful of either-ors, then one dish.

How to make mango lassi

One way to do it. The same ones the app hands you once you have decided.

Thick and cold

5 minutes · serves 2 · Very easy

What you need

  • 2 ripe mangoes or 300g pulp
  • 300g full-fat yoghurt
  • 100ml milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Pinch of cardamom
  • Ice

What you do

  1. 1Use ripe mango or tinned pulp. Underripe mango makes it stringy and sour.
  2. 2Blend everything except the ice until completely smooth.
  3. 3Add ice last and blend briefly, or it turns watery.
  4. 4Cardamom is the difference between a mango smoothie and a lassi. Do not skip it.
