That was somebody elseโ€™s answer. Yours takes about twenty seconds: a handful of either-ors, then one dish.

Free, no sign-up, and an answer in about twenty seconds.

How to make tibs

2 genuinely different takes โ€” a classic, and a faster or lighter route. The same ones the app hands you once you have decided.

Hard and fast

25 minutes ยท serves 3 ยท Very easy

What you need

  • 600g lamb leg, in small cubes
  • 3 tbsp niter kibbeh or butter
  • 1 red onion, in thick wedges
  • 2 green chillies, split
  • 1 tbsp rosemary, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp berbere
  • Salt
  • Injera or flatbread

What you do

  1. 1Get a heavy pan extremely hot. Melt the spiced butter in it.
  2. 2Lamb in, in one layer, and left alone for 2 minutes to catch properly.
  3. 3Onion, garlic, rosemary and chilli in. Toss hard for 3 minutes โ€” the onion should still have bite.
  4. 4Berbere and salt at the end, off the heat, or it burns.
  5. 5To the table in the pan, still spitting. Bread to pick it up with.
