That was somebody else’s answer. Yours takes about twenty seconds: a handful of either-ors, then one dish.

How to make crepes

One way to do it. The same ones the app hands you once you have decided.

Thin, lacy, rested

45 minutes Β· serves 4 Β· Easy

What you need

  • 125g plain flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 300ml milk
  • 30g melted butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • Lemon and sugar, or chocolate spread

What you do

  1. 1Blend everything smooth, then rest the batter 30 minutes. Unrested batter makes rubbery crepes.
  2. 2Hot pan, barely any butter, a small ladle swirled immediately to the edges.
  3. 3Flip when the edges lift and colour, about 45 seconds.
  4. 4The first one is always a write-off. That is the rule, not your fault.
