Iced coffee

Cold, strong, ice rattling in the cup.

That was somebody else’s answer. Yours takes about twenty seconds: a handful of either-ors, then one dish.

How to make iced coffee

One way to do it. The same ones the app hands you once you have decided.

Cold brew, overnight

720 minutes Β· serves 4 Β· Very easy

What you need

  • 100g coarsely ground coffee
  • 1L cold water
  • Ice

What you do

  1. 1Stir the grounds into cold water in a jar. Coarse grind only, or it turns muddy.
  2. 2Leave 12–18 hours at room temperature or in the fridge.
  3. 3Strain through a filter or muslin. It keeps a week.
  4. 4Serve over plenty of ice, diluted about half and half. It is concentrate, not coffee.
